Herbal Leaf Market lists CBD, CBG, herbal smokes, teas and botanicals from independent makers. Shoppers find you here and buy from you there. You keep your checkout, your pricing and your customers.
The short version, before anyone signs anything.
We are a storefront and a price comparison service. We hold no stock, take no orders and never touch your customers' money. Somebody browses our shelf, finds your blend, and clicks through to your own site to buy it from you exactly as they would today.
The only thing we need is a way for your store to recognise that we sent that person, so you can pay a commission on a sale you would not otherwise have made. That is the whole arrangement.
The sale happens on your site, under your terms, with your payment processor. Nothing changes about how you take money.
Their email, their account and their next order are yours. We do not resell your customer list, because we never have it.
The commission is whatever you decide you are comfortable paying on a referred sale. We do not negotiate it upward later.
Listed makers get a written profile on the site: who you are, what you make, and how to use it. Not just a grid of cards.
If you are on Shopify, this is a free app and about fifteen minutes. If you already run an affiliate program, skip all of it and just send us a referral link from whatever you use.
In your Shopify admin open Apps, search for GoAffPro, and add it. Choose the free plan. Nothing here needs a paid tier, and the free plan has no cap on affiliates or on referred sales.
It asks permission to read your orders. That is how it works out which sales came from a referral.
In the app's settings, set the default commission. This is entirely your call. Makers on our shelf typically land somewhere between 10% and 20%.
Set it on the product subtotal rather than the order total, so you are never paying commission on postage.
Find the affiliates list, add one manually, and approve it. Some versions leave a new affiliate pending until you do.
Open the affiliate you just created. It shows a referral link shaped roughly like this:
The code on the end is the part that matters. Send the whole link.
?ref= something. Please do not create a coupon we have not tested together. We load every code at the maker's own checkout before it goes on a card, because a struck-through price the checkout then refuses to honour is the worst thing this storefront can show a shopper. An unverified code is worse for you than no code at all.
Nothing to list, and nothing to the app. You pay a commission only on sales we send you, and only after they happen.
Tell us what you run. WooCommerce, Squarespace and BigCartel all have equivalents, and we have listed makers on several platforms already. The setup differs, the arrangement does not.
No. We read your public product list and we can list a subset. If there are lines you would rather we left off, say which and we leave them off.
Yes, and we would rather you did. We send you your cards and your maker page to read first. Nothing about your shop appears publicly until you have seen it.
Tell us and we take the listing down. There is no contract, no exclusivity and no notice period.
No. Commission never affects ordering, and it is never the reason a maker is listed or delisted. If that is what you are shopping for, we are the wrong storefront.
